SCM Instructor Recertification – June 1-2, 2026 – Atlantic City, NJ

JKM Training, Inc. is proud to present the 2026 Instructor Recertification training course!  This is a one and a half days training experience where certified SCM Instructors will review the SCM curriculum to clarify content and sharpen teaching & performance skills.

We recognize SCM Instructors may have less and less time to prepare for and deliver SCM staff training.  Therefore, JKM Training has developed a readymade Staff Refresher/Recertification training program that Instructors can use if they choose.  The training can be conducted in segments throughout the year or all at one time.

In this year’s Annual SCM Instructor Recertification, our JKM Instructors will take you through the process of facilitating the readymade Staff Refresher/Recertification along with a review of all SCM content.  Instructors will receive the SCM Staff Refresher/Recertification slideshow, facilitator’s guide, interactive workbook, and materials needed to conduct the various activities that are built directly into the training program.

While providing a comprehensive review of the curriculum, this year’s program will include multiple training exercises for teaching the theory and ESPI content areas.  Specifically…

• Introduced to an activity demonstrating the concept of using “One Voice” during instruction & interventions.
• Will develop scenario-based training situations & will apply de-escalation interventions to the scenarios.
• Will receive an activity to enhance staff’s documentation skills.
• For those utilizing them, evaluative tools will be used to ensure appropriate knowledge & application of the SCM Escapes and ESPIs.

As a reminder, SCM Instructors are required to attend an SCM Instructor Recertification course on an annual basis.  This requirement is consistent with standards for the professional community, as well as regulatory guidelines set by governing authorities.   Don’t miss out – sign up today!!
